My ranger build, needs improvement.
Well, my build isnt bad so far. Its pretty versatile for both pve and pvp but its lacking some aspects. Anyway, heres the build.
[skill]dual shot[/skill][skill]needling shot[/skill][skill]savage shot[/skill][skill]melandru's arrows[/skill][skill]troll unguent[/skill][skill]natural stride[/skill][skill]mark of rodgort[/skill][skill]conjure flame[/skill]
I use a firery recurve bow, forget the other mods atm..
Basically I target an enchanted foe, use conjure, melandru's arrow, mark, and fire away for bleeding, burning, and nice damage.

I have to say, I think Mark Of Rodgort is a little too costly to be used on a ranger.
Plus, you have Forked Arrow in there, if you look at the description, it says that if you are under an enchantment it wont work, therefore it cant be used when you are under conjure flame. The rest is ok.

well my only suggestion at all is to add in [skill]prepared shot[/skill] and use a different preparation to manage energy while using [skill]mark of rodgort[/skill]
or take [skill]mark of rodgort[/skill] out for.. another bow attack like.. [skill]needling shot[/skill]

You really need to get [skill=text]Savage Shot[/skill] or [skill=text]Distracting Shot[/skill] or both lol in there ^^ I would really really not recommend running a Ranger without an interupt
Melandru's is a little out-dated but its quite fun to see it in a build

forked arrow is pointless because you are under conjure take it out for an interupt and take out pen shot for a rez, a 2nd interupt, or something along the lines of antidote signet or poison tip signet

Needs more [skill]Savage Shot[/skill]
If not simply for the interrupt (which is enough of a reason), then for the damage compression of firing off a 1/2-second arrow after Dual Shot.
Also, I saw you wanted to stay with Melandru's Arrows for some reason, but Glass Arrows would outdamage a mere Bleed without the enchanted condition.. especially if you end up adding Needling Shot.

Melandru's Arrows are weak in part due to the splitting of attributes - you end up invested in Fire Magic, Expertise, Marksmanship and Wilderness Survival.
Cutting it down to 3 attributes will boost your damage output, though you lose Natural Stride and Troll Unguent.

Or you just have less in it. I run classic R spike on my ranger a lot in pve since it has a lot of interupts and puts out pretty good dmg. While most rangers prefer to use a lot of regen with troll I usually don't get that much and only use it for out of battle healing or countering heavy degen areas.

Melandru's arrows work better than glass in my situation.
Glass arrows need someone to block to make someone bleed, and still with maxed expertise the damage bonus is less.
Enchanted targets are more common than blocking ones.
Also, I will put an interrupt in, and this is mainly ab, so no resses.

Taking Mark of Rodgort is the most problematic thing on that bar.
what your sacrificing for that degen isnt worth it IMO
Distracting shot is just too good.
